Simon Aron – Co-founder and Joint MD
Simon has in excess of 20 years’ experience in IT sales and management. Having graduated from Kingston University with a degree in Economics, Simon began his career in sales spending the years prior to forming Eurodata as Sales Manager for Cavelle Data Systems in Manchester and the US. While there, he met Des Lekerman and the seeds for Eurodata were sewn.
As joint MD, Simon’s role is to forecast the future needs of our clients in addition to managing the on-going business of Eurodata. Having strong personal links with his clients affords Simon a depth of understanding of their needs that not many directors can boast.
Get Set for the Revolution?
“I believe that the new breed of IT Manager, brought up on mobile and instant communications, will instigate a revolution in the way businesses operate. As Blackberries and IM become the de facto methods of communication within mid-sized organisations, IT Directors will face new challenges in establishing infrastructures that can support a people-ready organisation. Eurodata has already faced these challenges itself and won through with a successful and efficient Unified Comms implementation. Taking a partnership approach means we listen closely to the needs of our clients and relieve them of the burden of sourcing appropriate technologies and delivering the solution.” Simon believes the enterprise-class technologies previously only afforded to large corporates will now become available to the mid-market in 2008 and effect the next wave of IT revolution.
Des Lekerman - Co-founder and Joint MD
Having studied Economics at Manchester University, Des went on to Join Konica and then Cavell Data Systems in Business Development roles which led to the creation of Eurodata. Now, with over 25 years’ experience, Des has honed his talent for anticipating market trends and creating new services. In 2000 both Des and Simon re-aligned the company focusing on services rather than hardware.
Leading You Through Innovation
“Having been in business so long, we are in a prime position to act as a technology consultant to our clients. We buffer technological innovation: leading them through upcoming changes and helping them achieve highly productive ways of doing business.
Traditionally Eurodata’s clients came to the table with a list of technologies they wanted to implement. Now they come to us with business issues. Time and again we save clients money while boosting productivity and maximising their control of IT. We’re proud of the extraordinary numbers of happy customers we have. This pride is what keeps all the management team passionate about Eurodata and our mid-market clients. “
Neil Keating – Commercial Director
In 2005 Neil joined the Board of Eurodata as Commercial Director. He has 15 years’ experience in sales and service delivery, having previously been Director of Professional Services at Getronics and a Director at PinkRoccade. After graduating from the University of Central Lancashire Business School with a degree in Business IT, Neil began his career with a period in Account Management.
Now at Eurodata Neil is responsible for creating, bringing to market and delivering new services within the Professional Services and Managed Services portfolios. Neil joined Eurodata for its ethos of open mindedness, its positive attitude toward change and a firm commitment to IT services.
Guaranteeing Service Satisfaction
“I spend as much time with customers as with my own teams. Our Managed Services client-base has doubled over the past 2 years. I fervently believe that success is due to our open communication with our clients; in taking on board their business pain; and in the tangible benefits contained within our service offerings, such as guaranteed fix times and flexible SLAs. I also believe that IT Directors in the mid-market need to turn IT into a commoditised service for their organisations. My Professional Services team advises many clients on how to achieve this successfully and with smooth transition. By taking this path, clients can offload heavy overheads, fill their skills shortages and maintain their focus on building business critical applications. The more customers choose a co-sourcing path, the greater the economies of scale will be.”
Simon Gold – Finance Director
Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with BDO Stoy Hayward in 1987, Simon quickly rose through the ranks taking Financial Directorships across a range of industries from property, to publishing and latterly at an AIM listed consumer goods enterprise. At Eurodata, Simon holds overall responsibility for all financial, HR and legal affairs. He also works alongside the co-founders on matters of business and financial planning.
George Georgiou – Sales Director
Having establishing himself over a 15 year period as a specialist in developing business solutions focusing on best practice managed services coupled with leading edge technology, George brings with him experience gained at a number of leading global MSPs and an exceptional track record in working in the enterprise and mid-market.
Now at Eurodata, George is responsible to continue the growth of managed & professional services into the current client base with growth into new market sector’s with an expanded sales force. George joined Eurodata for its great reputation and innovative forward thinking approach.
Trust and Vision key to Continuous Partnerships
“In the current economic climate, our customers turn to a partner they can trust to give them competitive advantage and the necessary tools for future proof technologies. We take the time to understand their business needs and challenges. If they succeed, we succeed. It's that shared vision and personal commitment that drive Eurodata to be culturally fit and aligned with our customers and the solutions they seek."
