The Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Trust (RSCH) wanted to create  greater working flexibility and improve the work-life balance for on-call clinicians.  In order to achieve this, they proposed enabling remote working for radiologists, allowing them to access, download and  then report on a wide range of x-ray and CT scan images when off-site, and particularly from home.

The Trust selected Eurodata on the basis of its reputation and experience within the NHS, strong relationship with Microsoft and  overall technical expertise.  Key requirements were that the solution needed to be easy to install and use, scalable to meet the growing needs of clinicians and highly secure, whilst meeting Connecting for Health
guidelines.
